Peace4theBigBend

We have combined our efforts with the Trauma, Grief, & Loss Coalition for Youth and the Suicide Prevention & Loss workgroup by highlighting those topics during our meetings once each quarter. Peace4theBigBend is a grassroots effort to create a resilient and thriving community by providing trauma education, resources, support and advocacy. We know many individuals struggle with trauma and loss at their roots and our community can help to address this by working together as a whole. Our Vision & Mission The vision of Peace4theBigBend is to be a trauma informed community. Our mission is to raise awareness, promote resiliency and educate others about trauma, its impact, and fostering hope. Our Meetings We meet the third Thursday of every month from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Meetings are held at the Corporate Office of DISC Village, Inc. located at 3333 W Pensacola St., Suite 230. The group is open to anyone in the community.
