2021 Best of Emerald Coast - Give Your Best Fundraiser
Out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety, due to the uptick in COVID-19 variants, Emerald Coast Magazine is cancelling the 2021 Best of Emerald Coast event.
Though we will not gather together this year, we encourage you to celebrate the 2021 Best of the Emerald Coast winners by frequenting their businesses, using their services, and by showing your generous support for our beneficiary, the Junior League of the Emerald Coast.
You can do this by taking part in our Give Your Best fundraising campaign.
For the 12th consecutive year, we are proud to benefit the Junior League of the Emerald Coast, an organization of nearly 300 women united by their commitment to bettering the community — and themselves — through volunteering.
Proceeds from Best of the Emerald Coast benefits the Child Clothing Project, the signature program of the Junior League of the Emerald Coast. Each year, this special outreach program provides clothing, books, school supplies and other essential needs to more than 400 children in our Okaloosa and Walton County elementary schools.
For $100, a child receives a must-need wardrobe and essential school supplies including: Two pairs of pants, A short-sleeved shirt, A long-sleeved shirt, A pair of shoes, a jacket, a package of underwear, a package of socks Toothbrush and toothpaste from area dentist, Assorted school supplies and goodies from the JLEC.
After their shopping experience, the children are treated to lunch followed by a variety of activities until they board their bus to go back to school.
